Well, I went to go get my paycheck at work which is only 1 mile away. I pulled up to a stop sign, there was a bus coming from the left and was turning right. It stopped to turn so I went to turn right since traffic was stopped and my wheel stuck in position and I went into the grass, and the throttle stuck...... slid, dropped into a 6 foot ditch.
While in the ditch, with the throttle stuck, the car kept accelerating until I collided head on with a drain.

Air bags deployed, and I came to a stop... smoke filled the cockpit and engine was hitting redline. Car was lying on it's side so I was looking into the sky. I opened my door, and rolled onto the street, dazed and got up stumbling. A detective walked up to me with her badge... she must've been behind me. .............She was really nice. Damn, this took forever to type.

I can still feel the impact, over and over, pain.

I thought it was gonna blow, I got out as fast as I physically could........... I could barely stand the impact was so hard.

And yeah, it's 5spd. .......The closest 5spd. GSX I found was 238 miles on autotrader.com

I bought this one in VA Beach.... Just dropped 2 grand into aftermarket in the car in the last 2 months.

Yeah, I still think it's a dream... I've been looking for a 5spd. GSX near me at a good price for almost 2 years and found one, but it didn't last long.

my throttle stuck before when a piece of the plastic sleeve on the throttle cable came loose and stuck between the cable and the throttle valve, i was on the interstate though, i floored it and went to let off but the pedal stayed on the floor. turned the car off and pulled over and fixed it. sux man

Not a clue, the car whipped out like RWD and the wheel stuck to the right, so I tried to correct but was already in the grass going downt the ditch..... then just accelerated forward while in the ditch, maybe I stiffened up and had my foot down on the gas, I dunno. I was flippin' sh** when I was heading towards the drain.

Thanks for the condolences...... I'm also glad I'm okay, I thought I was gonna head out the windshield.

It was such a simple accident, in terms of how it happened... just taking a turn that went wrong.

The worst thing, is that the street is dry and I slid like I was on oil??? I don't want any issues coming back saying I was being reckless, but I guess that's how it goes being a modded import w/ a 20yr. old.
