took my h22'ed eg to the track tonight

no one cares cause i don't post here much, but i took my hatch to the track tonight to get an idea of what she would do stock before i start building.

setup is 92 Si hatch w/jdm H22a swap. Bone stock, no bolt ons.

computer is a P28 chipped with crome.

ran about 4-5 passes, this is the slip from the fastest time i ran. I could have done better but i couldn't get used to launch do to them running motorcycles in between my runs for 15-20 minutes.

thought this post might help ppl get a good idea of what a h22 can do in a hatch. A heavy ass Si at that.

swap took 2 days and cost under 3 grand. It was super easy just time consuming.

EDIT: the other car on the slip was a bone stock 350z....

seems to be a very low trap speed for that time. But very good 60' times. Nothing to be ashamed of in the least bit.

was this on street tires? I'm guessing slicks or atleast dr.

1.95 is great for fwd. WHich would mean you're hooking well.

i don't understand what the deal is, i ran a 14.2 and trapped 95 and a 13.8 and trapped 95. It seemed low to me to, but i can't seem to get any faster. IDK what the deal is. There are a few things removed from the engine and the tune needs to be dialed in to accomadate. Just haven't had the time or money to get the basemap turned into a real tune yet.

very nice time. I know it's not the first H22 swapped hatch out there, but it's not something you see everyday. so  to you.

yea thats a good 60'

should be a lot of potential in that car without even having to go boost

i had a turbo gsr in there before and it was nothing but trouble.

i'll be going all motor on this build.

setup will be as follows:

euro R intake mani
RMF or SMS header
rocket motorsports gen 2 spring and retainer kit
jun type 3 cams (will run skunk2 stage2's until i can afford the juns)
rc370's

should be running 12's after these very few mods and a good tune on my P28 w/crome.
