Thoughts on STI Color Change
 

I was thinking about going with a burnt orange flake and carbon fiber hood. Any thoughts?

its blue... i dont think i am going to repaint, but im just thinking about it. i think it would look tight like that.

Its always cool to think about what color your car would look best as, but seriously... its good paint with plenty of life left in it. Unless your willing to spend like AT LEAST a grand on a paintjob, its not going to be near the quality you used to have. In my opinion getting a car painted can be the biggest headache ever. Just keep that in mind.

at least a grand? A grand will get you a really shitty paintjob.

3,000 is more like it for a mediocre paintjob, in my opinion. Maybe a little less, maybe a little more.. but if you're going to have it painted, you better get EVERYTHING! Under the hood, the door jambs, etc.

Definitely not worth it, especially since it is "the" blue. Maybe if it was a wrx in that mustard yellow shit color, but not a blue STI.
