Thinking about trading the VR-4 in....
...on a house downpayment and no debt.
You all know what hell I've been through with this car. Well, it's completed, and I've gotten some decent offers... I honestly wouldn't be losing out too much.
*sigh*
Advice?
I feel like I am at a crossroads in life....

I'd def go with the house. The Evo would have BEEN gone if it held value a bit better. Me being upside down in payments owns me right now.

Car car car car car car car car car car car car.... x 11tyBillion.
You built that car w/ your own hands... you've been through the entire thing. It's "your" car.
I think you'd be miserable to see it go... I know I would.
Ugh... hard choice... the houseing market isn't what it used to be... it's flat. It's not like the instant money maker it was 5 years ago.
You'd buy in high and have to hold the property for a long time to see any beneift in the current market.
5-7 years ago getting a house was the thing to do becuase they kept going up and up and up and people were making a great deal of equity... not so much anymore.

Long term money > Short term money
It's man law that everyone should build a car in thier life. You just crossed it off the list a little earlier than everyone else. I'd strike while the iron's hot. (I.e. If you want to sell the car, I'd do it now.)
But if you don't, I understand. Like everyone else in here, cars are our hobby and I have a % each month that I allow myself to spend on it. If you decide to keep it, there is no justification needed.

house for sure...it's an investment and if you're already gotten some decent offers for your car then why not sell it now? you might not get as much money for it later.
