Default Thinking about trading in the car.

So I am thinking of trading in my 2009 VW Passat. I am looking at getting a 2013 GTI. Oddly my insurance for the GTI would go down compared to the Passat. Also I am looking at the Mazdaspeed3. I know it is apples to oranges, but my question is compared to the Passat how do they stack up? You know, Pros and Cons. I have been looking online, and most seemed to be biased.

Well, why not go out and drive both of them and see which you like there? And also look up individual reviews online.

Well I can tell you one con. The mk7 Golf is already being sold in Europe, and will be sold here in about a year. Better to wait on the GTI so you can either get the new one or get a nice discount on the mk6's they are trying to unload.
