Default Swap kits

I was thinking about trying to put an LS1 or LT1 in my 1989 Isuzu pickup , since it's similar to the S10. So, anyone know where you can buy a swap kit, with the motor mounts and everything? If there is a place. Thanks.

Default Re: Swap kits

First - while the S10 and the Isuzu Pup both have 4 wheels and a seat, they're not 'similar'. The pup came with a 2.3 or a 2.6. S10 came with a 2.5 4 banger (variation of the iron duke) and a 2.8 v6. Theres also not a huge market for isuzu trucks let alone anything else. I've seen a SC'd 3800 (seriesII L67) installed in an isuzu (on pirate4x4.com) but not a SBC. It could prob be done, but its a lot of work for a truck thats never gonna get any traction and never be fast.

Try www.isuzone.org
