Default Suspension Laws!

I need to know how low I can go and still be legal. I need to know if I need to get coilovers or stay with my Eibach springs.

14 inches, measured from mid bumper, front and back... not sure about sides, but I assume if front and back are straight its ok... you can dip the front an inch or two lower and not get pulled b/c the back is good just my 2 cents

It's 14" from the bottom of your bumper if you have an older vehicle that has an actual bumper bolted to it, like say my truck for instance. If you have a car with a bumper "skin", it's from the bottom line where the bumper beam would be, which is usually the most forward protruding spot in the skin.

wow 14 inches from the bottom most part of the bumper is crazy. If thats true theres alot of stock cars that are against the law, im pretty sure my car would be below 14 inches and it just has factory sport suspension.

its not 14 from the bottom of your bumper... I was told my a police officer that is is 14 from mid bumper (in a civic, right below where the headlights are)... someone go to the virginia website and find the law and codes and shit... I've been there before but it takes a while to find the spot and I don't care enough to do it for someone else, hahaha lol
