streched tire's 225 on a 9.5
 

Anyone have any tips on how to mount 225 40 tires on a 18x9.5 rim. I have run out of ideas. I have 2 brand new 225's that I thought would be easy to mount, but that is not the case.

I'm sure the flaming will start in 3....2.....1.

i did it. just find someone with a cheeta machine. or you can actually pay someone to do it. the machines at Kreamer are always only 1-3 years old, and they cost 25,000 for a reason.

That shouldn't be a problem finding a shop to do that. Try the usual tire shops.

I had 245s on a 10" wheel. :thup:

My stock tires are 255 on a 9.5 wheel. I don't think yours should be a problem but I could be wrong :dunno:

I plan on running a 205/50 on a 10 inch wheel...so that should be interesting when that happens. Haha...as far as a place to do it go to a wheel place I guess, a place that specializes in it.

yo 205 is just dumb on a 10. and thats coming from someone with a 240 lol

carlton is running a 195 on a 9inch rim. with his new lips he will run some 205s on 10.5 rim. you just can drive the car real hard or the bead pops off.

perhaps for the reason why ppl run stretched tires in the first place. No sidewall flex.
