hahah i was gonna post something big ala ricky style. "gimme my thread back!" hahah i dont care.

SR vs KA. tiki, you want low end power, no need to downshift to pass

or

do you want to have to rev the motor to get power, downshift and on the regular "drive hard" to go fast.

or do you just want to "go fast"

least time cost effective is to build a KAT

no waiting on a motor from junkyard, no install or wiring issues.

go custom kit with some 370cc injectors and an AFC....theres your fuel....then just get a manifold built for a T3/T4. add DP, FMIC or SMIC whalla...KAT.

i dont feel like puking up the same price list for the 1000th time. no offense.

just get yourself 2,000 and start buying parts wherever you can find them. If you really wanna do it right get yourself 3,000

THAT never fails. Dont waste your time thinking about it all day long of how much shit is gonna cost. Just get the amount i suggested and start looking to buy shit. its gonna take you a couple months to piece something together. Might as well get on with your life and just gain the money instead of obcessing over it ALL day.

yeah obsessing over how fast your car WILL be won't get you anywhere. look at me! Listen to greaser he's right. The way he talks about it keeps me flirting with the idea of building a KAT S-14.5 one day. yeah after i get my usefullnees out of this damn moneypit. Next car is gonna be the truck. ALOT less expensive. plus for the price of an older 240 i can slap on a ATI I/C'ed procharger and break 13's coolva....

I say KAT. Your not a honda, keep your engine j/k, but anyways, I believe turboing the KAT would be cheaper then the SR swap. Goth kept coming up with figures close to $6000 to do the swap when he figured in the price of the motor, shipping, all the extra parts he needed, instalaltion, etc. If you dont rebuild your engine, the KAT would probably be alot cheaper. If you have to rebuild...probably close to the same price as the swap. But what do I know.....I'm a DSM guy.....

If I cared about time ... I would have a 400 HP+ KAT already.

Simply putting time into the equation all but rules out the SR. Waiting for the motor, doing the swap, waiting for parts, etc etc etc.

What can I say ... I like high reving engines ~_~
