So should I take this guy to court for destroying my car or?
I bought a 2003 G35 that was stock, joined the army got a huge bonus. Thought a so called friend could hook me up with his old APS twin turbo kit. Got the car shipped to hawaii where Im stationed and this is what I got. After 6 days of driving, after it kept blowing the IC pipe off.

Yeah I was dumb, so many signs on my part but I was too blind to see it. I already was in hawaii by the time he started this fuckery.

Cameron Lewis sold me this and installed it, more and more Ive been taking apart the more upset ive become. Stock plugs, one was covered in oil. Clutch wasnt torqued down. IIRC the gates are set at 9psi I saw 7-8 psi with an AFR of 10:1 wot/full boost 
Im in the process of tearing the block down to send it to the machine shop for an all forged bottom end. Blessing and a curse I guess.........
LOL at the full metal jacket refference.

Is he a shop?
Had you seen any of his work before?
Did you pay him to install it?
Were any standards set as to what you could expect?

If this guy is some amateur and you had him install something on your car, you're just as responsible as he is when you don't like the amateur results. If you had done the install and fucked something up because you don't have the skills, you can blame yourself. But when someone else does an unskilled install on your car....

Well he's just a guy. Not a shop. Not like I didn't have the skill to do it. I wasnt physically in va anymore. I saw the kit before I left. I decided to go ahead and buy it and he said he could install it for me. Thought about the job which was bassicaly removing of the engine and bolting it on. Because its made for the car. I've know him about a year before I decided to get him to do this. I spent 6k on a used kit which included install.
