yea I suck ,
I got 3 tickets on 267 toll road

1 for going at 95 on a 55 mph
2 exaust modified
3 non working equipment (cluster not working)

I know I did wrong I know I was going too fast but I had the road clear , I know I was stupid to do that

now my question is what could happen to me in court , the cop told me that I need to show up in court the 7th of september and I was wondering what would happen to me , would I get my license revoked , would I go to jail

i'am asking this bc I never been in court for a ticket o anything similar ? i never had a ticket , and + I live in md and my car is registred in md ...

He probably told them it wasn't working, that way he could say he didn't really know how fast he was going.

Your driving privilidges may get suspended for a little while in VA, they won't take your MD license. Thats worst case scenario. Looking at big fines and shitty insurance mostly. If you didn't go to jail right away, odds are much better you won't.

I wouldnt expect much, just like MAD_DOHC said if they didnt take you to jail for going 40 over at first you probally wont after court.. just apologize and explain why you were speeding

<got caught doing a good number over 40. I got a lawyer and this was my outcome. 3 months suspended liscence. 1300 dollar fine, so get a lawyer because you might go to jail for a few days if you dont.

happened to a family member.... get cluster fixed show a receipt and the punishment will be a lot less harsh...

Get the cluster fixed and that should help a lot but still expect to pay a fine. I wouldn't get a lawyer just fight it yourself but it depends on how good you are with words though. Think it out and do some research and take the best route. Oh yeah one more thing.......PRAY!


But if this is your first serious offense bring an abstract of your driving record and admit that you were being stupid that day and admit you were wrong. Things "should" work out more in your favor.

I went with a official work order receipt for firestone. The mechanic who worked on my car, got my receipt notarized and wrote on there infront of the notary that " I __________ completed the above work on this car". Judge felt like being a bitch that day and told me it wasnt admissable in court. I knew she was fucking being a complete bitch, didnt even look at my receipt. I just stayed calm didnt say a word back, even though I was pissed. Right when she says guilty and didnt even give me any slack, I immediately went out and got a appeal. Talked to a lawyer and he said it will be thrown out 100%, and he said if he was there when I went, it would have came out much differently. So yea make sure you take a lawyer.
