smoked tailight tint

Re: smoked tailight tint
And if you want to do it the right way. Open the taillight up, spray the tint on the backside of the tail light you want to tint. Let dry, put the light back together, and bam, you have a still shiny, tinted tailight. It seems when you spray the stuff over the tailight itself, sometimes it gets blotchy, and doesnt have that factory luster. I wouldnt take the tailight apart unless you know what you are doing, I bought extra tailights, and headlights when I attempted this the first time. It looked awesome, and people were always like wtf howd you do that? Because it didnt have any tint or film on the visible side of the tailight.
Just my opinion.........

Taking apart a headlight/taillight on most cars just involves baking at 350 for 5 minutes (or until the glue is melty) and then resealing it when your done. Most mistakes that occur involve the resealing, which can lead to condensation and all that good stuff. Take your time, do it right.
