Call any major shipping company they should be able to give you the info your going to need . If they offer packing for a short block its gonna cost you a arm and a leg . Your best bet would be get some ply wood and 2x4's and start building yourself a crate ,shrink wrap the shit out the motor and put in some polystyrene and get some cheap ratchet straps and make sure it doesn't move . But for a good company you could always try Yellow Freight or even UPS i think they do ship that size and weight but you would have to bring it to them.

UPS or Fed-Ex could ship it as long as it doesn't weigh more then 150 IBS. If it weighs more they do have freight services as well ...

I've always used roadway. Cheap(much cheaper than fedex and ups), easy, and reliable. Although it isn't the fastest out there.

All you have to do is drop it off at a station and they do the rest. Even unload it off the truck for you.

www.uship.com after you have it crated by any shop that does engine swaps. can also call then to ask who they use. it's going to have to go by freight.

just buy a heavy duty storage bin from wal-mart, cover the block in plastic wrap...fill the bottom 2 inches with packing peanuts and the rest with expandable spray foam. duct tape the top and screw it on.

I shipped a gsr block to Ca not to long ago, it arrived in perfect condition...via UPS.

If it's a rotary yeah. I'd seriously try to get around putting it in a crate if you can. Those motors are tiny.

DHL is cheap. thats what i use now to ship larger heavier packages.

+1 on the heavy-duty wal-mart plastic bins.
