Shipping a lip?
Im selling a lip and i have this box for it that it came in. the dimensions of the box is 70x22x7 i did a quote on shipping with USPS and they quoted 120 dollars?!
does anyone have any other methods? im selling the whole lip for 200 and another 120 for shipping would just kill it

because of the size it goes by dimensional weight.
ive learned this recently as ive been selling alot of crap in my garage including large but light items.
so no matter if your lip is only 5lb or if it was 55lb (or what ever the max weight was for that dimension) the price is going to be the same.
my experience though.. cheapest prices to ship something big by ground in the US is thru fed ex ground.
buy and pay for the postage online and you will get a discount.

Looks like with those dimensions you gave shipped to 90001 (I just picked L.A., you didn't send me a zip) it would be around 75 dollars. But if you take an inch from that and make it 69x21x6, the price drops 10 dollars.
