Default SEAT PROBLEM

the gear to my seat in my integra is broke. Not really sure of the problem, it feels as if it is stripped. It will stay up but when you sit in it, but it clicks back all the way down when pressure is applied. Does anybody know where i could get this fixed or give me some pointers

Look around at the locking mechanism that holds the seat back in position. There is probably a spring holding a little pawl in place, and the spring is probably broken or missing. I haven't seen ITR seats in a few years but I'm just making a general guess.

Either that or the pawl has rounded off and slips out of locked position when enough pressure is applied.
