Just wondering, would I be able to register/drive a vehicle with a salvage title? If not, how troublesome would it be to have the title rebuilt? And is insurance higher for a rebuilt title? Anyone go through this before? The car is from coming from PA if that matters. Apparently looks/runs completely fine, owner was "clueless" to the whole salvage situation...

Call your insurance company and ask them. Registering won't be a problem. Then most of the time insurance isn't a problem unless it's a flood vehicle.

Registering the car here shouldn't be an issue if it is currently registered. I have checked on this before the few insurance companies I called (Big name ones progressive, statefarm, etc.) would only do liability coverage if that bothers you.
