Why is it so damn impossible for any V8 Mustang and/or V8 F-body to pull up next to one another and not have some high speed race result? I swear, I really think its impossible for a Mustang or F-body to not race each other if put both side by side. Has anyone else noticed this. Its almost always in good fun, but almost a guarantee that its gonna happen.

If I give the "cool guy head nod" or some kind of nice car acknowledgement, it is usally returned with F-bodys too.

it seems a lot of mustangs hate on me, though it's more V6's than V8's. there's a guy at my office building with a GT with the license BYBY LS1....

the V8 F-body will likely kill the V8 stang, unless it's an SVT cobra but not many of those around.

Probably because the Mustang and F-body were the last remaining cars from the muscle car era. There's a mutual respect between most owners of the two, but history calls for a friendly race.

I can't think of two better cars to represent the greatest era in automotive history than the two either.
