Default Random fact/ Highest National Speed Limits

Ive heard of some stretchs of freeway in the Northwest having no set speed limit, but here are the Nations highest reported limits.
And everyone is aware of our low speed limits.

Top Maximum Speed Limits
1.80 mph -- Texas (on about 500 miles of Interstate 10 and 20 in southwest corner of the state)

2.75 mph -- Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas (in counties with less than 10 people per square mile), Utah, Wyoming

3.70 mph -- Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington State, West Virginia

Just a little interesting find

Where did you dig up this shit.

The only state that didn't have a speed limit was Montana and they got rid of that a few years ago.

And I just read in the paper here the other day, WV is going to raise it again to 75 for the interstates and 70 on primary highways.

There are alot of 4 lane highways in the state with exits and such, (corridors) so that will be real nice when that takes effect.

I love my 75 MPH Colorado speed limit. 85 all day long, right past troopers.

The 80mph limit went into effect pretty recently, it may have still been 75 when you drove through.

The Montana situation was great, Limit 75, cops won't pull you over until you are doing well over 100mph. We were AVERAGING 90mph through the State, mother and I that is.
