Question about windows??
Hey im new to this website here and i thought i would give it a shot.
So i have a 2000 honda civic si and both of the felt/rubber peices on my windows are startin to get messed up cause of the heat and what it is doing is leaving this nast glue residue on my windows, which is very unatractive!
i went to a honda dealer and they priced me like 79 bucks for each one, it has been a while so i cant remember the part they told me so if anyone knows what im talkin about could they hit me up, i really need them fixed nothing like rollin your windows up and all you see is glue.
tryin to get them and maybe little less than what they got at my honda place

Re: Question about windows??
Wrong. Its called a "weatherstrip". The belt molding (#1 & #3) is on the outside of the the door.

The OEM weatherstrip (#4) is only $31.91 at:

He never specified wether it was inside or out, and the fact that he said felt led me to believe it was the one on the outside.

You are right, he did not specify whether it was the felt on the inside or outside of the window. Im sorry for saying you were wrong, but I have never seen glue residue on the outside of the window. I have only seen residue on the inside of the window. Hopefully the OP will chime in on if it is the outside or inside felt that is worn out.
