Possible to rent paint booth?
Just wodnering fi anybdoy knows of a palce in teh Hampton Roads area where i can rent a paint booth to shoot my friends car.....
Also wondering if anybody knows how the pricing for this type of thing works.

hmmmmm........ if you can work something out with me, might be able to use my father in-laws garage, he has compressor and we can put up a plastic wall, other than that he has fans and stuff to vent out everything, thats where i shot my car.

ive got a garage i can do that in, we were gonna do the same thing... how did it turn out for you??? What kinda of lighting did u use??

i used a lot of flood lights to light the entire garage up, forgot the wattage it was pretty high wattage though probly say about 500watts per light i used about 8 of em set em up in different parts of garage and different angles, i could see everything. It turned out fucking awsome though, no runs, no over spray. no miss shots, no cooking of paint, flaking,chipping or any of the results youd get from a heat source being too close, had everything set up just right.

ive honestly never done any painting before, ive done some minor body repair and watched my moms boyfriend do the paintin cause he used to work in a body shop, but other then that....none... Think maybe youd be willin to share yur garage when u get it all setup adn we'll hook ya up w/ a lil bit of money or something....shoot two cars at once, maybe 3 :-D

itd prolly be about a month before we have the cars ready to paint and stuff... weboth gopt alil bit of body work to be done adn i wanna shave the moldings off of my civic... so ive got to get teh time to get to a friends to get some metal strips welded behind the door skin....
ive got a 93 civic coupe that im tryin to get painted adn my buddy who really needs the paint job has a 93 240.... hes tryin to go black, im tryin to go for a blue...its actually teh blue that they offer for new saturn vues, lol....
but yeah id lvoe to see some pics, thanks man!
