parting out a car with a lien
Just need some quick info VaDriven....
So i'm thinking about parting out a particular car of mine, but i have a lien against the title. So obviously, that means selling the shell is a no-go...
I hear that salvage yards will buy shells. Do they need the title to so? I figured they wouldn't, since most or all salvage(junk) yards do not sell shells. After the car is stripped to its bare shell, or until potential customers stop showing interest, i can't have a shell sitting around my house.
As far as the lien/title holder goes, it's Navy Federal, and my standing with them is beautiful(if this matters any)
Any useful input is welcome, thanks in advance guys

Re: parting out a car with a lien
i see. in that case, that's probably a sign to keep the car whole lol. thanks
But in the event that i proceed with the part out, are there any companies that would pick the shell up and dispose of it? or even a place that i could take it?

parting out a car w/ a lien is a no go. you will still have to pay off teh lien. also as for a title. well. theres a few ppl on craigslist that take cars w/ no titles. I know this cause i got rid of an old roomies shells and my ol parts car that way. all in one day.
