Default Paint stripping question?

My reverse is shot in my current trans, so i bought another one from a buddy. Well the damn thing has been painted a shitty red color so before i install it i want to strip it back to the aluminum casing.
Now my question is what would be the best product to use as far as stripping the paint?
Would that air plane stripper shit work?... Or is there somehitng better i could use?
Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Yea thats what i used. The coat of paint wasnt to heavy so it came off pretty easy, only took about 3 coats of air craft remover to knock it all out. Ill post some pics later
Before...

After...

Not everything. The rims I gave to Jazzcornet to powder coat had some gray paint on them that 20 can's of aircraft stripper couldn't get off.

Try Tal-Strip, its made by mar-hyde, I don't think its the same aircraft stripper you guys are talking about. It comes in a jug. They should have it at any auto body supply store (not sure about auto zone, or advance but its worth a shot)
