Default To paint... or not to paint...

I got the idea to paint the text of my "Powered by Ford" coil covers with azure blue spray paint. I've found a company that offers azure blue in a rattle can to accomplish this idea. Anyways, I can't decide how it would look. Would it be a tad on the ricey side, or tasteful? Also, would the coil covers get hot enough that ordinary spray paint would burn off? Opinions welcome.

The mentioned coil covers:

i think it would look pretty nice actually. As far as them getting too hot...do you think you could find a heat resistant primer to spray under the color coat? i don't know if that would make a difference or not, i doubt it would just because of the temps in the engine bay, not just on the metal. Besides, if it looks crappy i doubt it would be hard to strip the paint off with some brake fluid and a brush.

I think it would look good as well. Though burn off would definitely be a concern.

maybe do just the letters first? i know it will look good either way, but im thinking just the letters would be sublte, yet still pimp. and after painting, just get some high temp clear coat. thats what i used on my nitrous bottle (not bc it gets crazy hot, its just all they had and i didnt feel like going to another store)

Why bother - waste of moeny that could be spent on gas for that thirsty car- seriously how often do you drive around with the hood up or park up and pop the hood for people to stare?
