Old School Turbo Dodge Guys, got some questions
I just bought a 85 dodge omni, not used to driving a domestic or a turbo car. I have about a million questions and I have found a few answers but would like to talk to someone who really knows a lot about these cars.
Please hit me up on AIM at xstreetxlampx
Thanks guys!

Re: Old School Turbo Dodge Guys, got some questions
There was a guy on here that has quite a few of them. Take a look at Sport Compact Car back issues, last summer there was an article with I believe an 88 omni. The car put down some good numbers, made me want to take one on. Gave some ideas too.

Re: Old School Turbo Dodge Guys, got some questions
the possibilities, I have seen some beat sleepers. Is that have the T1 or T2 setup? I found a dodge daytona with the old style manifold that really sucked and the tb was right off the turbo and no innercooler. I went to a couple of junk yards and found some stuff for the t2 conversion and was being offered high prices " or maybe im just a cheap cheap guy" make a long story short I found a shelby datyona abandoned at this delipadated house and took all the parts off it and did my conversion. It was pretty nice afterwards as far as power difference, but it was still a turd.

It's currently a T1 but I have all the parts for the T2 conversion. I have had it for not even a week, driven it twice and the starter cable broke and the shift linkage. True it is a domestic turd but Im hoping to turn it into a fun turd.
