Noob trying to pickup a 240sx. Found one and need your advice
Yeah so tomorrow I am trying to go get a 92 coupe.
KA24DE 186,000 Miles, Automatic, Black paint is pretty shabby.
the carfax said it has had quite a few owners: the carfax shows that it has 14 title registrations this is alot and is it a BAD thing?
the carfax said that it didnt have any accidents ever and no flood damage so it appears to be ok.
autocheck said that there were 47 records for the car and Carfax had 27.... autocheck said the car is a base 240sx/SE
... I have pics to be posted later in this post but first questions
1. How much is this car worth? KBB said like 1300, the guy im buying from said he wants 1300.
2. He said theres like 1 or 2 rust spots from what I saw from the pictures they weren't serious but a real inspection when I visit tomorrow will be in order.
3. SHOULD I BUY THIS CAR??
4. ANY other info about how i things I should do/ look for when looking at the car tomorrow would be EXCELLENT, Thanks again and heres pics:

No don't buy it for 1300. Actually....just don't buy that car at all. Also I'd really recommend trying to pickup a 5-speed...

It's got 186k miles and has had 14 owners. Be prepared to sink some money into some parts to get it running and driving acceptably. The blue book value probably didn't take into account the dozen boy racers who have flogged it raw since it was sold the second or third time.
