NHRA finally updates rules to the times.
For a long time the NHRA street car rules like "you must have a roll bar for any convertible running 13.99 and quicker" and "you must have a driveshaft safety loop" are now dead. These reflect the changing times i.e. safer cars from the factory and w/ the rise of street racing it makes the track more accessible. Now you don't have to have anything extra untill you're < 11.5.

if this is a nhra rule vmp and richmond are ihra sponsored tracks...so they have a different set of rules.best thing to do is check the track's websites for rule updates.or the ihra rule book.

As far as that NHRA rule goes. From everything that i have read. The car has to remain unmodified to still fall under those rules. But i could be wrong, it has hapened before.

NHRA is over IHRA so if u pass NHRA rules then u WILL pass IHRA rules, on other notes, damn 11.5 shit i havent been on a track yet and i already know i need a role cage, i really dont won't to tear up my back seats, well maybe one run will do me enough for now.
