My back still hurts after an accident, should I sue?
Hello all, If you arent on drag and didnt see my post abotu my car accident last month here it is My jeep Sandwich..
If you dont fell liek clicking I'll give you cliff notes..
It's been almost 2 months and my back hurts BAD, it feels like its on fire sometimes. I dope myself up on flexeral and vicotin but the damn thign still hurts.
I go to the chiropracter 2-3 times per week and cut my activity level down to next to nothing. (My saving grace is the Godfather game and Xbox live:bowdown: )
Nationwide tried to pay me off early and I'm glad I turned them down.
One of my friends suggested that I sue the insurance company for damamges and I'm really considering it. I dont want to be 30 and cant play with my kids or be 55 and have to take a handful of pills every morning.
I know money isnt the end all to my problems but this really sucks and I'm in a good deal of pain even sitting at work typing this. :shakehead
Has anyone here sued an insurance comapny or have any suggestion on what to do?
If you dont fell liek clicking I'll give you cliff notes..
*In my jeep at a dead stop.
*I stopped 20/25ft from the car in front of me to let another one pass through.
*I was hit HARD by a 79 dodge ram in the rear.
*I smashed into the car in front of me.
*Forehead slams into armrest
* jeep = totalled and my bad =teh suck.

Secondly, yes you should be talking to an accident lawyer.

If you aren't ready to settle out of court for what they either offer or counter offer you, be prepared for a lengthy court battle that will see 33% of your winnings go to your lawyer. I got into a bad wreck in 8th grade. Senior year rolls around and I got $3K.
I'm not saying don't do it, I wouldn't hesitate to sue their ass. I'm just saying be prepared because you won't get money or be better over night.

brad hoffman got me $9,000 [after paying him] from an accident i had my senior year, good guy to deal with if you are on the penninsula.
i shoulda gotten way more but i wasnt gonna let a bad back stop me from playing my senior year of baseball and of course the insurance company saw me.

Both cars were doing 60+ and hit head on. Of the four people involved, I was the only one not flown out. They guy driving the car I was in had to be cut out of the car, shattered both legs from the waste down and had to have like 6ft. of intestines cut out. I had 2 broken hands, stitches in my knee, broke about 6 or 7 ribs, concussion, and my hip still bothers me to this day from the seatbelt. Without the seatbelt, I'd be dead.
