You didn't mention that! Anyways Europe is not snowed under Oct - Apr so don't let that be a factor in your decision mate.

Not that next year may be like this but this was prolly one of the warmest winters they've had here. We had barely any snow in Schweinfurt even when I was in Holenhfels in November we only got a dusting we everyone else said OH its gonna snow like crazy blah blah blah. they are serious on road maintance here, so bring over the beast and hurt the jerrys feelings on the autobahn and The Ring. Oh and speaking of the Ring https://www.facebook.com/groups/571409066224023/
its pretty much all service guys around Germany, they plan trips, compare times and other car talk

Re: Moving to Germany... Decisions, decisions, decisions...
So, I am going to sell my SRT8 and buy a "nice beater". 18/28 MPG sure trumps 14/24, as does AWD in a cold country. I also found that mechanics and domestic parts (German domestic, that is) are much, much cheaper than what we face here in the states. Pretty good to know.

Of course, this is pending an inspection by these guys, since I am not in the area to thoroughly check everything:

If this car turns out not to be in near perfect shape, I'm going with an '11 550i Xdrive (OMG, V8TT? fuck yes). Those bitches run about a 12.1 on a conservative tune. If not, then a '12 A6 3.0S/C.
I will miss breaking even on the SRT8 by a few hundred bucks. No biggie at all.
