does anyone know what year the LT-1 went into the vette.

Yes. The grand sports were LT-4's and every 96 that was a 6 speed was also an LT-4 then of course the ZR1 was an LT-5.

Firehawks also could get a LT4 in 1997. Only 29 were produced however.

if i remember correctly the 30th ann edition SS was the only camaro that ever had an LT-4 engine. and only a handful of them were made. no?

mine was only a Z28.

yea yea, i was just wondering if you knew about them putting it in the camaro. if i remember correctly, 1200 SS's were made, 100 of wich had LT-4 motors.
