Low profile Jack
Any recommendations for a low profile jack. My current jack is slightly to big to fit under the bumper. I'd like to keep the price below 75.

Re: Low profile Jack
i have the same the previous owners are raving about. i use it alot on different vehicles and it is great. caught mine on sale @sears for 99$
BUT dont use it on a full size diesel pickup. it didnt like that too much -.- had to tear into it and service, it hasnt been 100% since.
pepboys and similar stores sometimes have the same profile jack made by no names for under 100. no vouching for their quality though.

Northern tool has one just like the one available at Sears for $99 (or it was when I bough mine). I got mine more than a year ago, it works well and I use it a few times per month.

Re: Low profile Jack
I think I have the same craftsman jack ppl are talking about if its aluminum, I paid a little more than they did. I bought it when it first came out and has been working great ever since. Definately worth the 170 I paid for it.

i have the aluminum/steel craftsman jack..got it for about $90 on sale. they do have an all aluminum one which is double the price.
works great on my prelude, but still rubs the lip since i have to push it under a little farther to hit the engine support bar.

on that, just make a couple thin wooden planks, drive/push your car onto them, and youll have the extra inch or two (depending on how thick you made the ramp) you need to get the lowboy under. I have the same issue when i slam my Z.
