LOST TITLE
there is a car i want and i am getting a real good deal on it but it has no title .
How do i file for a lost title and what do i need to have with me at dmv?

The only person who can get that title, is the person it's registered to. If he just can't find it, it's $5 at the DMV for a new one.
If it's someone else not even involved, you're fucked most likely.
The person its registered under would have to sign a "bill of sale" saying they no longer want ownership of the car for you to even register it regardless.
So you'd have to track them down, yada yada, it's not easy at all and in the end, usually leads to forgery to accomplish anything.

I would say to move along though, most likely not worth it. If it was the person selling it would have already done it and sold it for more.

its really funny though, i talked to the guy last night and says he is in colorado for work but his wife is down here and i can deal with her. anyone wanna ride lol

Yeah but that's just as much of a bitch, if not more. I've been down all these roads before with different cars. If there's a situation with the title, just move along.
