looking for a track car
When I get back from deployment I plan on building a circuit, autox car. I had a 240sx with a ka and loved it but I'm wondering about other options. I was going to get a 300zx from a friend back home but the jackus recently wrecked it. I'm looking for an older rwd car where the insurance won't kill me, so far here are the choices, budget ~$30k:
-240sx turbo ka, blow an engine can pick one up for mad cheap
-240sx sr20, solid engine w/ crazy aftermarket support, lighter
-FC RX-7, the gen3's are too expensive
-Miata, don't know much about them just know there's alot of them racing so something good must be up
-your input here I'm open for pretty much anything, my friend mentioned a motorex r32 gtr but the whole insurance thing and finding parts may get me in trouble in the long run.
Thanks for you time, lates.

for 30K id say either:
1) '99 10th anniv. miata (comes wiith 6 spd manual and sport suspension), spend about a good $6000 to do a turbo and full stand alone engine managment system, good for around 240hp to the wheels reliably in a 2300 lb car, and youll have a good chunk of change left over
2) FD rx7 twin turbo, doesnt take much for this car to be a kickass track/autox car
3) used 2000 s2000, can get these for around $23000 if you look hard enough and the car is pretty much ready for track duty as is
