Looking at STI's...
Im looking into possibly purchasing an STI sometime next year but, I want to know if there are any quirks that are to be taken notice of such as premature turbo bearings going bad or something lol

the stock vf39 turbo tends to crack.
other than that, axles will go around 400whp or so.
typical other subaru stuff like cheap paint, sometimes cracked windshield, the usual rattles and squeaks.
but a sti is definately worth it unless you want to make big power then id say go evo.

I cracked my WRX windshield 3 weeks after I got it. My GF bought a new 06 2.5i last fall and cracked hers on the way home from the dealer an hour away. Now we match.

They don't break any more than any other car. It's just luck, or lack thereof. It seems that about 1 out of 3 cars here in Colorado has a cracked windshield. Luckily it doesn't matter because there aren't safety inspections.
