long/short tube headers
has any one seen the 1st and 2nd gen S.H.O and the crazy upper intake that it boasted. Yamaha had designed it so that at 4000 rmp the intake would switch runners. with the long and short intake runners there was a much wider hp and torque band so you could have fun in any gear. now to my question, could you take the same principle of the long and short runners and apply it to the headers? you could set it up so that the longer runners would help give you some more torque down low and then switch to the shorter runners for some extra hp. has any one heard of something like this? would this be a doable ideal?

What's a heard?
By the way, lots of cars have dual runner intake systems, like Integra GSRs, some H22A Preludes, many other brands, etc.
