Default LOL @ car salesmen (BMW Fairfax)

Yesterday I went in to check out a CPO 335i (6MT, sport package) and apparently I got assigned to some noob sales guy for the test drive.

I scheduled an appointment for first thing in the AM right after opening, and [some sales guy] called me 10 minutes before to re-confirm (good so far!)

I show up right on time, the car I'm planning to drive is parked right out front. (also good)

Noob sales guy brings me out into the showroom and points to some fat 45 year old hag sitting at a sales desk and says "she just test drove the car you're looking at and they're working out the paperwork now, if it doesn't go through, you can still buy it".

Aside from the fact that a) the office has been open for 3 minutes b) you called to confirm my appointment c) she's way too fat to fit in sport seats.

Dumbo is really going to pull the pressure sale assuming I don't notice the obvious?

Gotta love car salesmen. Turns out dumbo has been selling BMW's for less than 2 months and knows next to nothing about them. I'm not surprised so much as disappointed.

Hate to break it to you but most car salesman know little to nothing about cars outside of what they read in the literature which means nothing.

The fact that she wasn't cooking or cleaning was a dead giveaway too

My friend's cousin worked at BMW of Fairfax. He was actually a car guy though, so he now sells Ferraris.

Yeah, that's always been the case. Unfortunately dumbo didn't even know the literature.

Now that is just cold. This woman could have easily been a cleaning/cooking crew lead.
