light smoke spray/tint
hey sorry i swear i tried to use the search but im not finding anything useful.. so i know the light smoking and tinting is illegal but im wondering how many of you out there have it and or get trouble for it?? i wouldnt be thinking about it knowing theyre illegal but i see it so much im wondering how much police attention do they really attract??.. i dont want them as black as my black car.. but just a nice hazing maybe?? any opinions or experience would be appreciated

No problems here, 3 different cars so far, I use model paint on all mine, and have had a few friends try my methods as well, looks black but still very transparent and even the reflectors glow when light hits them...

I use the model tint spray cause its cheap, and very thin so you can do any darkness you want by the amount of coats, its also easy to work with, and readily available for $5 a can

i have vht nightshade on my side markers, and just rattle can flat black on my bumper markers.
ive never really seen/heard someone getting hassled about it except during inspection time.
