Well I'm Military so I guess I'd fall under top Guard, and me personally I havent wrote a ticket in like 8 monthsand alot of people I work with are the same but we have some civilian guys that will hit you for anything

Why do Hampton, NN, and other places all have both a City PD and a Sheriff's office? I'd say the state police do their jobs the most, because it's mainly just writing tickets and not so much investigating and stuff.

It depends on what you mean.

If you mean that they will ticket, arrest, or reprimand people doing illegal stuff, I'd say pretty much all of them do that.

If you mean actually going out and finding real criminals and not harassing people be it for whatever reason (cars, race, age, etc) then I would say all departments do to a certain degree.

sherrif deputies and such work for the courts, but are still aloud(as of a couple years ago) to issue vilolations
