interior/upholstery
I plan to have my interior replaced soon. I own a 95 caprice(big car). Do upholstery shop repair dashboards as well? What's the average price for interior repair?

Re: interior/upholstery
jesus..you may as well drop the car off with me...
to redo the entire interior your looking on average of 2000...
is your dash cracked ? thats normal...it can be rewrapped in vinyl ..or it can be removed and the cracks repaired and redyed the oem color...
and sometimes its easier and cheaper to pull the front windsheild and repair/redye the dash in the car...

Re: interior/upholstery
The dash is dry and cracked which is expected for a car is age. I really just wanted the doors and dash done by a shop. I wanted to try doing the carpet myself. The seats are fine.

Re: interior/upholstery
well...
that includes carpet, headliner, door panels, seats. etc. it will be cheaper if you dont need all that done ...
most of all the caprices ive painted and all just had bad carpet or front seat...nearly all had perfect door panels and headliner

Re: interior/upholstery
well in that case...the door panels can be repaired and redyed like the dash..
the dash in those cars are not too hard to remove...but sometimes its easier to pull the windshield..but it depends on a case by case basis
id be more than happy to give you a price on the door panels and dash...if you get a chance swing by my shop sometime...the address is in my signature..

Re: interior/upholstery
I was going to say a friend of mine did his 1978 Impala tank with reconditioned interior and that was at least $2K. He had a spiderweb dash, oil-stained carpeting, and mold everywhere.
