inspection plates and insurance.

Hey i have a firebird that i am restoring but i have to take it across town to a shop this weekend it does not have plates or insurance and has no inspection. How can i make it legal for me to drive it there? My friend told me there is a 3 day permit or something like that is this true? help me out please!

yeah you can get a 3 day permit for purchasing/moving a vehicle from dmv
you can do it online also

great! do u have to have insurance on it tho and do u have to have plates? and how much are they?

If you dont have insurance theres an extra $41.50 fee + $5 for the pass.
