Default info on BMW e36 to e46 front end conversion

That's what I need. I drive a 93 325i sedan and I wanna convert the front end into an e46. Not a complete conversion, I'm going to keep my e36 m3 bumper but I want the hood, grill, and the head lights and the e46 m3 side fenders. any pictures similar to this type of conversion available? how much would it cost? what other parts do I need? I live in the DC area, what would be competent shop besides Wagonworks?

Hmmm, not sure if I have seen that done. I know alot of the turboed guys like the E46 front bumper because of it's huge opening for their intercooler. I'm not sure if all of the fender, hood, light, etc. would just bolt right up. I'm pretty sure that the E46 hood is a hell of a lot bigger than the E36 hood. Good luck either way. Go to www.dtmpower.net and ask, someone on there will most likely know.

I've seen attempts before - it doesn't look right, and won't be worth the money (to do it right.)

id try and get the front clip of one(if there is one$$) and then mold the e36 bumper onto to it.

I've seen it done before also, the lines don't seem to work together.

Exactly, same with E46 M3 bumpers on E36 cars. Looks like ass.
