Okay guys, so I'm getting sick of the stereotyping everywhere I go. Being mixed (filipino & white) is really starting to tick me off. I appear to be full asian, so I always get the impression that I drive a Honda. Now, I'm here to set the story straight between the whole rivalry of Imports vs. Domestics. First, here's my story. When I first got my license, my first car was a Honda, let it and my ex-girlfriend rest in peace, it got totaled due to a drunk driver. Even before I had my license, I have had an 1981 Chevy Camaro project car & a 1993 Honda Civic Coupe project car. Nobody understands that the whole Tuner scene started when people started hot rodding. I'm gonna make a list here, if you agree with me, let me know. If you don't agree with me, then it's your opinion, this is my opinion.

Hardcore Domestic Guys:
- Only like Domestics that are V8's.
- Hate any Imports or Euros.
- Hate anything that isn't a V8.
- Hate Fast and the Furious.
- Use stereotypes to determine what people drive.
- Will get pissed off when they lose to an Import.

Hardcore Ricers:
- Only like Imports, particularly 4 Cylinders & 6 Cylinders.
- Hate all Domestics.
- Hate anything that has 8 Cylinders.
- Love the Fast and the Furious.
- Think they're cool when they have ridiculous stickers and wings all over their cars.
- Will get pissed off when they lose to a Domestic.
- Make their cars look like crap.
- Their cars are slow.
- Bring the Tuner scene down.

**The only difference between Ricers and Tuners, are that Tuners are actually fast and don't look like crap. Oh yeah, we actually respect Domestics because they started the whole Car Modifying scene**

Cool Domestic Guys:
- Respect TUNERS and Domestics.
- Hate Ricers
- Hate the Fast and the Furious.
- Respect fellow racers, wether Import or Not.
- Respect all of the car culture that isn't ridiculous.

Cool TUNER Guys:
- Respect DOMESTICS and fellow Tuners.
- Hate Ricers
- Hate the Fast and the Furious.

The Message to the Car Cultures: What I'm trying to say guys is that, ever since the Import scene started, there has been a rivalry between Domestics and Imports. We all gotta give it up to the orignal Hot Rodders who started the whole Car Modifying scene. Now, DOMESTIC GUYS, please understand that you aren't the only ones who hate ricers, Import guys do not like them either. Please don't think that every Import is a ricer, Ricers have degraded the image of real tuners. Now, IMPORT GUYS, please understand that you can't hate Domestic guys, because of them, the whole Car Modifying scene started. Can we all just get along? We all have a couple things in common, we love cars, hate cars that are badly modified, and hate Fast and the Furious.

One last thing: I want you guys to know that I'm 17. There are still guys out there like me, that respect both tastefully done Imports and Domestics. I have friends that hate imports, ones that hate domestics, and ones that are like me and like both. I know this rivalry won't stop, but I hope this changes at least one persons opinion about Imports vs. Domestics.
