Default Immonbilizer Anti-Theft System malfunction?

Has anyone had issues with the Immobilizer Anti-Theft System in an 01' Accord? Key sensor doesn't read sometimes and fuel shuts off occasionally while driving. Not sure if I'm leaning in the right direction as far as what the problem is but it's my best guess. Any thoughts or links?

It's not the immobilizer if it cuts off while you are driving. Immobilizer will restrict at start.

The reason I'm think it's the Immbolizer System is because when it does shut down (not often), the key sensor icon doesn't light on the dash, the same as when it won't start in the 1st place (Immobilizer engages when the key isn't read). Not sure if it's the Immobilizer Sys or a key sensor but it's not an electronic key. Originally thought it was a fuel sending problem but the sending unit, filter, relay, etc. has been replaced already. Seems to be a sensor of some sort. I am not electrically friendly. Just tryna stay outta the diagnostic bay @ a shop.
And to you comedians that have nothing better to do than sit on a PC talkin shit to kats that are tryin to search viable info...lick it. I'm not a thief & def push a harder ride than an 01' Accord. There's a reason my username is 6wheeler...guessin you wouldn't know nothin about Japanese products with six wheels though....hope your online gf keeps u busy tonite son cuz I'm not up for readin your bs in the morning. Good evening.
