i took off my 'civic' and 'ex' emblems and i can't get rid of the remaining glue shit that held them on. i've tried scraping it very carefully with a razor blade, pulling it off with my fingers, and rubbing it furiously with goo gone. i can't get it off and it's annoying the fuck out of me.

so, if there's anyone who knows what they're doing and can get this shit off without ruining my clearcoat, i'll gladly pay a reasonable amount. or it'd be great if someone could tell me what to do that'll work guaranteed...

Heat gun or hair drier. It'll work. Get it nice and hot.

I actually tried that with a hair dryer but i wasn't getting anywhere..maybe i didn't get it hot enough...so get it extremely hot and then what, pick it off with my fingers? it's extremely thick...

i had heard someone mention one of these before and was wondering about it...it's just a spinning rubber wheel, no? and could it burn the clearcoat off?

Try dry ice.

Thinner. It sounds rough but I used to work at a body shop and we did it on the daily. Just make sure you toss some wax on it when you're done.

Yep. Paint thinner, just used it on my boat. put it on, let it absorb, repeat, let it sit, then pick at it.

yes its a "spinning rubber wheel". Just don't leave it in one spot for a long time..I debadged my suburban w/ two of them
