Ideas for an eclipse spyder

Ideas for an eclipse spyder
I started saving when I was twelve and was able to get an eclipse spyder for 3800 for my first car. The only two problems with it is that it has a patch on the roof (someone tried to break in) and the front bumper was scraped up (the guys gf ran it into a fence). I put a black bra (matches the black top) on the front bumper to cover up the scrapes.
I'm planning on getting a new front bumper, but I'm going to wait till summer when I can start working full time and bring in some doe.
Until then I'm trying to think of small projects, $100 or less, that I can do to make my car look better.
My current plans are
I will also be getting a new stereo system for my birthday/christmas (my birthday is the 22nd). ... or at least I will get a portion of it payed for.
Do you have any suggestions or tips.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
BTW: The reason for the $100 dollar limit is because I can only work weekends and one or two weeknights due to school.

My current plans are
- Get green (might get blue) neon lgihts to go under my dashboard.
- Lower the car with some new springs.
- Get a cool air intake, or something else relatively cheap and easy to install that gives me a few extra horses.
- Get a body kit during summer (after I've saved up).

Tip 1: No neons.
BTW, nice format for the thread. Most new users don't know how to post anything other than a jumbled pile of shit.

Don't do neons or body kit or any of that. I'll think you'll regret it later. Just save up, lower it on good suspension, wheels, tint, new top and call it a day.

dough..........not doe. Before spending your hard earned cash, read around the forum a bit.......you are drifting down the Pep Boy path of riceness. Take the road less traveled.

- no
- no
- no
- no
- Is the car turbo or nonturbo?
- save up for new springs/struts
- Tint the windows
- take care of all issues with the car, mechanical or cosmetic
On a low budget like your talking about having just do the basics. But don't go over kill on useless pieces. Neons are for show cars, not daily driven vehicles. I'll ask around about good places to get Tops, i know they are kinda expensive from mitsubishi lol

Re: Ideas for an eclipse spyder
First off spelling is key "dough," not "doe." Second neons are about as gay as it gets along with body kits. Personally I'd sell the car, but it's yours so do what ya want. Slam it on good suspension, hids, nice rims, i/h/e.
