Default I need help buying car/motor

I have a 98 sedan with a blown b16. I'm suppose to be spending 3k on a 93 couple with a b20 block and b16 head 45k on swap. I'm not sure of the condition or if the b20 and the b16 head was done right. I'm looking to get something with more power then my b16 that is already semi or fully built. I have 3k in hand what should I do. Will the car with the b20/b16 setup have more power then the b16.

Whatever you decide to do, you're still dealing with a honda, therefore you'll still be slow and a torqueless wonder

It's hard to figure out wth you said but don't 2.0L engines usually put down more power than 1.6L engines?

More torque, because it has greater displacement. Not necessarily more Hp, the B20 has different ratings depending on which one z or b because the compression ratios are different. However, the B16 has more Hp but less torque than any B20.
My suggestion is get the B20 block, with some higher compression pistons & put the b16 head on there. B20Vtec a little more torque than any B16 plus some top end. If ir budget is 3k build & balance the engine depending on your needs & what the use for the car is going to be. DD or weekend warrior or even track slut, take ur time if I can & do plenty of research!

Look up the mathematical relationship between torque and HP and it will all become perfectly clear.
