Question how do you fix a cracked dash?

weve all seen it on older cars.

The sun just beats it until it cracks now it looks like ass. INstedd of replacing the whole dash is there anyway that the cracks can be filled?

and dont even suggest a carpeted dash cover. those things are soo getto.

anything you do to try and repair it will look like shit. About the only thing you can really do is replace the dash pad. Shouldn't be that exspensive.

It's a very common problem. I had cracks in mine up in the front where the vents are. But if you search Rennlist or Pelican Parts, I'm sure you could get one for somewhat of a decent price. I heard from my friends that they are a bitch and a half to replace too, so good luck.

The formula has a crack in the dash right next to and going through one of the defrost vents. I'm willing to bet that it will be expensive, since the entire dash is one humongous peice thats like 4 foot by 2 foot by 3 foot of plastic.
