How to disassemble CTR mirrors.
I just got some ctr mirrors for my civic and I need to disassemble them so I can get them painted properly. I was able to find a few PDF's on how to do it with USDM mirrors but no luck for these. They aren't power folding, they are just power adjust/ manual fold. Any advice would be great, thanks.

yep. although the wires/electircal connections will still be connected and youll either have to remove the guts of the mirror to get it undone, or just cut it and resolder it after paint.

pull it slowly, seriously,
there is a plastic clip/ball on the inside, and all you do is gently pull until it comes off, it takes less than 3 seconds

That's exactly it. They popped right off. I pushed the mirror in and popped it out from the outer side. Worked perfectly. I can't exactly go up to the store and get a new pair so I was scared to do it like that. Didn't want to break it. Thanks so much.

the worst part is breaking the plastic tab/clip that connects to the mirror, because then you have to have one shipped from somewhere, because they are not like the regular ek mirrors or the integra..
