How difficult is it to replace an automatic tranny with a maunal one?
I have a 2000 dodge neon. I have it FS in the domestic thread. But if I could get information on how to replace the tranny and put a new manual one in, i wouldnt sell it. I want a manual car. How difficult would it be to cut through the bottom to put the tranny and gear shift there? is it possible?

No where near worth it, it will still be a neon. Sell it and get another car.

it isn't that hard but you're going to end up spending more on it than the car is worth. sell it and buy something other than a neon. you'll thank us later.

A 2000 neon should be worth a couple grand if in decent shape...sell it and buy a civic or integra
