honda civic eg vs ek?

hurricane irene and a tree took out my '96 hatch. found a '95 hatch i want to take a look at. anyone care to chime in on the differences between the two? eg to ek changes i might want to be aware of?

Only real difference is that one is obd2 and one is obd1 and more likely to be stolen
