the lug nuts should center the wheel without the hubcentric rings....BUT..BUT...BUT...they may not...if the wheels hub bore is bigger it may be causing it...

i would put money on the tires though...

you may be able to see if belts are broken your self...

jack up a wheel and spin it and keep you eyes fixed on a certain spot, say the strut...and see if the tire is not perfectly round...it may be egg shaped...and would get worse at higher speed because of centrifical force.

that actually make sense, Ye ole wheel shop told me there was a "hop" in the tire, idk wtf he meant at the time.

should i..... order the same tire? or 2 different tires?

Thatll help you with learing about belt shifting/tread separations. I had the unfortunate mishap of being a passenger in a car when it lost tread in the front drivers side at 75mph. Best friend was showing off and powersliding on nearly bald tires and separated in the turn causing a blowout. After we rolled a few hundred yards we dusted ourselves off and I laughed at his dumb ass, but it couldve been A LOT worse. Seatbelts FTW.

buy the rings. trust me. it makes a difference. and it's cheap. do that first and rule it out, then do tires. i went without rings for awhile on my BMW and when I put them on, it made a huge difference.

I don't know why, but when I saw the thread title I just had the urge to come in here and say Michael J. Fox.

Happened to my IS when I had it. Replaced the hubcentric rings and it fixed it.

Try that first.
